Plastering

PLASTERS & RENDERS
After damp proof course injection has been carried out, the second stage to complete the job is Specialist re-plastering.

When you are looking for wall plastering services south London or re-plastering damp walls after rectification works e.g. DPC installation, gypsum plasters are unsuitable as they are not moisture tolerant and allow the migration of salts. Sovereign Renderlite Renovating Plaster is a moisture and salt resistant plaster that is also thermally efficient, so giving walls an improved U value. At the same time, Renderlite Renovating Plaster is breathable so damp walls can dry out as the Renderlite does not trap moisture. Renderlite Finishing Plaster can be used to provide a tough hardwearing skim finish and can be applied in as little as 24 hours after Sovereign Renovating Plaster. For general rendering or where high levels of sulphates exist or even for tanking applications, Sovereign Sulphate Ready Render is ideal. It can be used internally and externally on masonry backgrounds, it can be hand or spray applied and is ideal for rendering swimming pools and facades subject to intense weathering. A quick and easy way to fix plasterboard and insulation is Sovereign Fast Fix Board Adhesive. Applied using a standard foam gun, Fast Fix Board Adhesive is sprayed onto the rear of the board and then pressed into place. When fixing plasterboard it can be skim finished in around 1 hour. If a background is not strong enough or is contaminated e.g. with paint and needs to be rendered then Sovereign Expanded Metal Lath can be used. Mechanically fixed to the background the metal lath can will support the render and keep it fixed against the wall

Sovereign Renderlite Renovating Plaster is a pre-blended and dry bagged lightweight cement based plaster which has been developed to enable its application in both new construction and existing buildings.
It is designed to have similar properties to a 1:1:6, cement:lime:sand mix, but with a lightweight material, Perlite, replacing the sand aggregate. Special fibres are also incorporated into the plaster in order to assist in controlling shrinkage and improving flexural strength.
Renderlite Renovating Plaster is suitable for wall plastering services south London onto most traditional background materials, being appropriate in renovation work and following the installation of a damp proof course. This plaster, having a low U value, also provides excellent thermal qualities making it particularly useful where condensation may be a problem.
Renderlite Finish Plaster is designed for use over Renderlite Renovating Plaster as well as sand/cement mixes providing a hard, durable finishing plaster. Once mixed, it can be re-tempered allowing its use for up to 80 minutes, thus minimising waste.

Both Rederlite Renovating and Finish Plasters have the added benefit of third party accreditation in the form of British Board of Agrément Certification, No 91/2727.
These plasters provide an efficient and sustainable solution to your plastering
